Yet again I could start jabber how this sould be a weekly blog. But I spare you from that, and because of that I hahe wrote little bigger blog post. ;)
It's almost the end of the October. Last days of the Autumn and leaves will evenctually fall soon from their trees. Halloween is upon us, tough in Finland it's not originally Halloween, it's called "All Saints' Day" (translation (by using Google Translator) from the word "Pyhäin Päivä").
It's more subtle fest. At that time, people don't purchase fancy masks or terrifying costumes. Instead we buy candles and take them to the graveyard to honor the dead ones in our society. It may sound silly, but it's quite beatiful fest without all the commercial hype and all what comes with it. It's one of my favourite day of the year because graveyards around the nation from that night are full of candles. Every single citizen or a family bring one candle to remember one of their diceased family member. At middle of the night when it's dark and I'm standing in the middle of the graveyard, there's a sea of candles around me. It's magical. To think that every single of those lights are reprosending one human life.
Okay, but enough about that. I'll share you some pictures after the Halloween.
Last week was a holiday week in our School, so I haven't been all that active in internet. Mostly I have been laying low, it has been a wonderful to just relax and maybe compose music once or twice in a day. Last few days I have been really inactive here, but that is about to change.
But now it's a right time for a new quick update. First of all, the Facebook page has now 500 likes in total! Thank you everyone for likeing the page and it's content! It's wonderful how only with a touch of a button, you can really make a difference.
Facebook is a wonderful service, still it has it's flaws. The worst thing about the Facebook is it's system. It doesn't show the posts all of the people who have liked the page (that is quite understandable, there would be millions of posts to people every day) but in facebook, you had pay few bucks to be able to show the posts to all of your audience! That is just how this world works. Money... Even tought Facebook has made sharing music easier, it also demands cold hard cash for questionable features.
That is why I appreciate you likeing my posts, with a touch of a button, more people are going to see that particular posts. Facebook shows the post to 10 more people when you like it ;)
To celebrate 500 likes, there will be a special track released both in Soundcloud and Youtube, stay tuned ;)
But let's also talk about music.
I've been negociating with few game developers. I'm not sure is there going to happen anything yet, but our talks have made some progress. Even so I'll keep you updated.
Also royalty free music is on it's way. I got a back from the Enterbrain, still I'm not sure do they choose to sell it, but at least they have noticed it. They are really busy at the moment, releasing their new product to the market. Let's see how it goes, and I have a back-up plan for the scenario that they choose not to sell it. After all it's 55 high-quality royalty free music.
Wow, you congratulate you if you have read the whole post, I should start writing a novel :D
